I LISTEN, I CARE,
I STAND UP FOR YOU!
"As your next Ward 1 Councillor, I will provide strong, principled leadership that listens, takes action and gets results. I will be your trusted voice at City Hall, and never stop fighting for our community!"
–Linda Qin, BSc, MS, PhD ABD
RESPONSIBLE DEVELOPMENT & NEIGHBOURHOOD PROTECTION
I support the housing Windsor needs, but not BLANKET FOURPLEXES across our neighbourhoods simply to qualify for outside funding. We must protect the character of our established neighbourhoods — The Windsor Way! I will also fight to Protect Ojibway National Urban Park!
RESTORE THE MASSEY TRACK
I will be a STRONG LIAISON between the City, the School Board, and the community to help restore a proper community track at Vincent Massey.
ROSELAND – FAIR SHARE IMPROVEMENTS FOR RESIDENTS
I oppose development that compromises the safety, environment, and character of established communities. I stand with Roseland residents — I will advocate for fair compensation and meaningful benefits for affected residents through neighbourhood improvements, enhanced traffic and pedestrian safety, and community amenities. Roseland will continue to be a great place to live.
HURON CHURCH RD – SHARED RESPONSIBILITY
I will work to keep international trucks off city streets. If that cannot be achieved, I will fight for increased provincial and federal funding for road repairs, traffic safety, noise mitigation, and neighbourhood improvements. International trade should mean shared responsibility—not an unfair burden on Ward 1 and Windsor taxpayers! Strict rules should be enforced to keep trucks on designated routes.
FIGHTING FOR THESE CITY ISSUES!
RESPONSIBLE SPENDING & AFFORDABLE TAXES
I will hold the line on spending, protect your tax dollars, and fight to keep any required property tax increases below the rate of inflation.
BETTER MUNICIPAL SERVICES
I will fight for better everyday services, including a review of the two-week garbage collection system. Residents' concerns must be heard, and Council must always be open to improving these essential services.
HOMELESSNESS – COMPASSION & ACCOUNTABILITY
I support the Village At The Barn approach and will work with the Mayor and Council to secure greater provincial and federal funding—ensuring Windsor taxpayers do not bear the burden alone.
